SkyDaddy Announces 2017 Spring Run

SkyDaddy, the funky, soulful jam band from NYC with Hudson Valley roots, has announced its spring run for 2017.

The band will make its first performance at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 (after Amy Helm) on March 30. Tickets are $10, and can be purchased online at TicketFly.

On March 4, SkyDaddy opens for supergroup Multibeast — a new collaboration featuring members of Kung Fu, Consider the Source and Teddy Midnight — at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, NY.

Spring 2017 will also mark the SkyDaddy’s first appearance at Rock N Roll Resort — known as the unofficial start to festival season — taking place from March 31 – April 2 in Kerhonkson, NY. This year’s festival is headlined by The Nth Power and Pink Talking Fish, with performances from northeast standouts Gang of Thieves, lespecial and Formula 5 among many others.

The spring run kicks off on February 25 at The Wherehouse in Newburgh, NY, for the venue’s 8th anniversary celebration. On March 2, SkyDaddy joins Till I Die as the lifestyle brand takes over Plattekill Mountain in Roxbury, NY for a free, all-day ski event that is open to the public. March is rounded out by two acoustic shows in London, UK — at the Bank of Friendship on March 8 and Wedge Issue on March 9. In April, the band with make its debut at B.R.Y.A.C. in Bridgeport, CT alongside Tyrone Shoelaces on 4/8, and will perform at Saylestock in Ridgewood, NJ on 4/30.

Citing deep Hudson Valley roots (Nyack, Poughkeepsie and Marlboro), SkyDaddy was featured on WHUD in January in the Hudson Valley Artist Spotlight. The full interview, with song “Tell Me I’m Crazy,” can be heard here.

In addition to live shows, SkyDaddy will release its second EP later this spring.
